CELEBRATION OF FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN OMAHA and BRAUNSCHWEIG
A recent concert held in Braunschweig, entitled “New World”, was conducted by Maestro Thomas Wilkins, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of a strong friendship between Omaha and Braunschweig beginning in 1992. The event also included signing of the historic guest book with Lord Mayor Ulrich Markurth.

Henryk Wienanski – Violen Concerto No. 2 (Johannes Denhoff – soloist)
Antonin Dvorak – Symphony No. 9 (From the New World)
25th Anniversary participants: Carol Stoltenberg, OSCA Braunschweig Chair, Thomas Wilkins, Conductor Omaha Symphony and Lord Mayor Ulrich Markurth.
