OPS Students who correspond with Shizuoka open CultureFest
Students from OPS Beveridge Dance Club who have been corresponding with students from Shizuoka and studying the Cherry Blossoms dance and the anime style of animation, opened CultureFest last week. The event, which was a collaboration between the University of Nebraska at Omaha Service Learning Academy, South High School and Beveridge Magnet Middle School, included a tribute to the culture of Japan as well as many other cultures. The free event included music, dance, spoken word performances, informational exhibits and food.
